Mihaela Martin
Mihaela Martin is considered one of the most outstanding violinists of today.
He was born in Romania and, at the age of five, received his first violin lessons from his father. Later he studied with Stefan Gheorghiu. At just 19 years old, Mihaela Martin won Second Prize at the famous International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He also won awards in Montreal, Brussels and First Prize at the Indianapolis International Violin Competition, which launched his international career forever.
Mihaela Martin has performed as a soloist with major orchestras such as the BBC, the Royal Philharmonic, the Montreal Symphony, the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra and the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra.
Mihaela Martin is a violin teacher at the Cologne Higher School of Music, the Kronberg Academy and the Barenboim-Said Academy in Berlin.
He is a regular member of juries in major international competitions, such as Queen Elisabeth (Belgium), Indianapolis (USA), Enescu (Romania) and Tchaikovsky (Russia).

Miguel da Silva
The French-Swiss musician Miguel da Silva was born in Reims and began studying at the Conservatory of his hometown, before moving to Paris, where he studied at the Higher Conservatory of Music with Serge Collot. In Paris, he was awarded the First Prize for Chamber Music and Viola, unanimously and with a special vote of the jury.
In 1985 he won the First Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Paris.
His passion for the string quartet led him to found the Ysaÿe Quartet, together with three friends. After winning First Prize at Evian, the Ysaÿe Quartet began an important international career.
Miguel da Silva has performed as a soloist with the Paris Chamber Orchestra, the Polish Chamber Orchestra, the Auvergne Orchestra, the Franz-Liszt Orchestra of Budapest, the Brittany Orchestra and the "Les Siècles" Orchestra.
Parallel to his CDs with the Ysaÿe Quartet, Miguel da Silva recorded for Accord, Valois-Auvidis, Philips, Harmonia Mundi, etc. He also founded his own label, Ysaÿe Records, which, with the Nascor label, offers young musicians the opportunity to make their first recording.
In 2008 he was appointed viola professor at the Musikhochschule in Luebeck, Germany, where he took over from Walter Levine, and as a tutor at the European Academy of Chamber Music (ECMA) and at the Summer Academy of the Vienna University of Music. . (ISA).

Swedish cellist Frans Helmerson began his musical studies with Guido Vecchi in Gothenburg before studying with Giuseppe Selmi in Rome and William Pleeth in London. Sergiu Celibidache and his mentor Mstislav Rostropovich also played a very influential role in his artistic development.

Tiago Pinto-Ribeiro
He graduated in double bass from ESMAE-Porto and then entered the UdK (University of the Arts) in Berlin, where he studied with Michael Wolf and obtained a master's degree. He won first prize at the Júlio Cardona International Competition and received an honorable mention at the ISB (International Society of Bass Players) International Bass Competition in Houston.
He has played with some of the best orchestras in the world: Hamburg Symphony Orchestra NDR, Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Hannover Philharmonic Orchestra NDR, Galicia Symphony Orchestra, among others, where he has been conducted by renowned teachers such as Claudio Abbado, Cristoph von Dohnányi , Kent Nagano and Cristoph Eschenbach.
Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro
Filipe Pinto-Ribeiro is one of the great Portuguese pianists today, and one of the most internationally recognized as a soloist and chamber musician.
A graduate and doctor of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, where he studied with Lyudmila Roschina, Filipe has since developed a career that has led him to play in the main venues and with the main Portuguese orchestras in some of the main concert festivals in Europe and North America. .
An important moment in his career was the creation, in 2006, of the DSCH-Schostakovich Ensemble, of which he is Artistic Director, a variable geometry group in which, over the last almost 20 years, many of the most significant musicians of our country have participated. time for concerts around the world.
It was also from that Ensemble when he created in 2015 the Verão Clássico Festival and Academy, which is held annually in Lisbon between the end of July and the beginning of August, and has become one of the most important summer music festivals and academies in the world. .
He is also the artistic director of the Hood Music Festival and the Bragança ClassicFest.
His solo discography includes the solo CD 'Piano Seasons', with works by Tchaikovsky, Carrapatoso and Piazzolla / Nisinman and, in chamber music, the integral piano and strings by Schostakovich and an album with trios by Beethoven, all edited by Paraty. / Harmonia Mundi.
